    My favorite Mediterranean food spot!!!! Everything is homemade and fresh. Chicken is always spot on. I love the lulu and the potato salad they make is so addicting. Top it off with their hummus and homemade salad dress. Yummmmm

    We just had a very nice dinner at Alla's.  The food is a little different from what we use to, but all was very tasty.  They have a pomegranate salad dressing that was different and very nice and light.  The yalanchi and hummus were very tasty.  I had the beef and lamb shish, the lamb had a nice marinade with nice favor, also nice tasting bulgar and pilaf.  My husband had the cabbage sharma which he said he would definitely  order again. The service was very nice and prompt, very nice clean atmosphere.

    Alla's is located in the small shopping center at the northwest corner of Ashland an First, it faces Ashland.  If your not careful you could miss it.  Worth the effort to find - recommend giving it a try.

    The food was delicious!  The lentil soup had a perfect blend of spices - very flavorful.  Hummus was top notch.  I tend to eat vegetarian, however my friend ordered the lamb kabob and I tried a bite - juicy, cooked perfectly - yum.  Finished it off with the chocolate honey cake - no regrets.  Besides the food, the staff was nice, the place was clean and nicely decorated and they played some great music.  Winning!

    I'd forgotten about this gem on Ashlan!  Yummy lunch today!  Fresh ingredients & prepared perfectly!
